TakeMe Cancellation Policy
This Cancellation Policy forms part of the TakeMe Terms of Service and applies to all reservations, prepaid dining packages, voucher purchases, and related services provided through the TakeMe platform.
By using the TakeMe services, users agree to the cancellation and refund rules described below.
1. Reservation Services
TakeMe provides reservation facilitation services and concierge assistance for restaurant bookings.
Once a reservation has been successfully confirmed, the reservation service is considered completed.
As a result:
reservation service fees are non-refundable once a reservation has been successfully confirmed.
However, refunds may be issued in the following situations:
the restaurant cancels the reservation
the reservation fails due to technical issues on the platform
the reservation cannot be fulfilled due to operational errors by TakeMe
In such cases, users will receive a full refund of the applicable fees.
2. Reservation Confirmation and Success
Reservation requests submitted through the platform may require automated processing or coordination with restaurants.
TakeMe will make reasonable efforts to assist users in securing reservations. However, reservation confirmation is subject to restaurant availability and operational conditions.
A reservation is considered confirmed once confirmation is issued by TakeMe or the restaurant.

3. Reservation Modifications
For confirmed reservations, TakeMe may allow a one-time modification of the reservation date or time.
This modification is subject to restaurant availability and operational feasibility.
The following changes are not permitted after a reservation has been confirmed:
changes to the number of guests
changes to reserved courses or menus
any modification involving price adjustments
If users wish to make changes that cannot be accommodated, they may cancel the reservation subject to the applicable cancellation rules.
4. Restaurant Cancellation Policies
Certain reservations and prepaid dining packages may be subject to cancellation policies set by the restaurant.
These policies may include cancellation fees depending on the timing of the cancellation.
The applicable cancellation rules will be presented during the booking or purchase process.
Users agree to comply with the cancellation policies established by the restaurant.
TakeMe may collect cancellation fees on behalf of the restaurant in accordance with these policies.
5. Prepaid Dining Packages
Some restaurants offer prepaid dining packages through the platform.
For prepaid dining packages:
cancellation and refund eligibility are determined by the restaurant’s cancellation policy
refund conditions will be displayed during the booking process
TakeMe will process refunds according to the applicable restaurant policy where applicable.
6. Voucher Services
TakeMe may provide promotional vouchers or coupon-based services.
Voucher cancellation rules are as follows:
unused vouchers may be cancelled and refunded at any time before redemption
once a voucher has been redeemed at a restaurant, the voucher becomes non-refundable
In addition, if a voucher remains unused for 180 calendar days, the platform may automatically cancel the voucher and issue a refund to the user.
7. Restaurant No-Show
Users are responsible for honoring confirmed reservations.
Failure to appear at a confirmed reservation without prior cancellation may be considered a no-show.
In such cases, restaurants may charge cancellation or no-show fees according to their policies.
TakeMe may collect such fees on behalf of the restaurant where applicable.
8. Cancellation Method
Users may cancel reservations, prepaid packages, or vouchers through their TakeMe account dashboard.
If a cancellation cannot be completed through the platform, users may contact TakeMe customer support for assistance.
All cancellation requests are processed according to the applicable policies described above.
9. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed through the original payment method used for the transaction.
The time required for refunds to be completed may vary depending on the payment provider or financial institution and may take several business days.
10. Time Standard
All cancellation deadlines and timing calculations are based on Japan Standard Time (JST).
